Meghan Markle Receives Major Montecito Home Boost as Lucrative Australian TV Deal Promises Big Payout

Meghan Markle could be heading towards a major financial boost, with an insider claiming her upcoming television role in Australia could earn enough to cover the running costs of the Sussexes Montecito mansion for an entire year.

The Duchess of Sussex is reportedly preparing to return to Australia for another appearance connected to the MasterChef franchise, following her previous experience as a guest judge on the popular cooking programme.

According to the report, Meghan is expected to spend several weeks Down Under, where she will take part in Junior MasterChef Australia alongside returning judge Poh Ling Yeow.

The development comes as Meghan and Prince Harry continue to make plans for their future, having reportedly decided to keep their Montecito home despite speculation about their long-term living arrangements.

The couple have also faced renewed attention surrounding Meghan’s estranged father, Thomas Markle, following allegations involving him that have reportedly prompted an investigation. Thomas has denied wrongdoing, and the allegations remain unproven.

Amid the family controversy, Meghan’s Australian television opportunity could provide a welcome professional development as she continues building her entertainment career and lifestyle brand, As Ever.

An unnamed source cited by Woman’s Day claimed the opportunity had been discussed since the Sussexes’ previous visit to Australia.

“It’s an incredible opportunity for Meghan and there was no way she was going to say no,” the insider reportedly said.

The source went on to suggest that the Duchess would spend around a month in Australia and receive a substantial payment for her participation.

“She’s only going to be gone for a month, she gets to work with kids and she goes home with enough money to cover Montecito for a year,” the insider claimed.

However, the publication has not provided a confirmed figure for Meghan’s reported payment, and the suggestion that it would cover a full year of expenses for the mansion remains an unverified claim.

The source also suggested that the programme is currently a priority for Meghan as she looks to strengthen her public profile and build recognition for As Ever.

According to the insider, the Duchess is particularly enthusiastic about returning to the cooking show and working with its young contestants.

“People underestimate her love of cooking – she can’t wait to get grubby with the kids in the kitchen alongside Poh,” the source added.

There is also speculation that Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet could accompany their mother during the Australian trip, although their travel arrangements have not been confirmed.

Whether the children will make any appearance on the programme is another unanswered question, with no official announcement suggesting they will take part.

For Meghan, the reported opportunity combines her interest in cooking with another television project and a chance to expand her professional presence in Australia.

While the financial claims surrounding the deal remain unverified, the Duchess’s return to the MasterChef franchise could become an important moment in her continuing efforts to develop her entertainment career and As Ever brand.
