The monarch also used the occasion to reaffirm the longstanding friendship between Ukraine and the United Kingdom, sending his wishes for a more peaceful and secure future for the nation.
“My wife and I send our sincere and special wishes to you and to all Ukrainians for the possibility of peace, security and prosperity in the year ahead,” the King concluded.
