Meghan Markle’s Team Breaks Silence on ‘Bombshell’ Tell-All Book After UK Return
Meghan Markle’s team has finally addressed growing speculation that the Duchess of Sussex could be preparing a bombshell tell-all book following her return to UK, issuing a clear response to rumours that could have caused fresh concern within royal circles.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex returned to the United Kingdom with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet in August for an extended stay, triggering intense interest in what the couple intends to do during their new British chapter.
Alongside questions about their relationship with King Charles and other senior royals, speculation has continued about Meghan’s professional plans, particularly whether she could eventually follow Prince Harry by publishing her own account of royal life.
Royal commentator Katie Nicholl discussed the possibility during an appearance on The Royals Uncensored podcast, revealing that she had repeatedly heard rumours suggesting the Duchess could be considering writing a book.
“There’s a rumour that she’s going to be writing a book. Actually, I’ve heard this repeatedly,” Nicholl said while discussing what could potentially become another major project for Meghan following the Sussexes’ return.
The commentator suggested such a move would not surprise her, especially considering the enormous attention generated by Harry’s memoir Spare, which contained deeply personal revelations about his life and relationships within the royal family.
“It wouldn’t surprise me at all. We know what Harry got paid for Spare,” Nicholl continued, before suggesting that Meghan could potentially believe there was still more of her own experience and perspective to share publicly.
“I’m sure she hasn’t completely milked her side of the story,” the royal commentator added. The remarks quickly added fuel to existing speculation about whether another explosive Sussex memoir could eventually emerge.
However, Meghan’s representatives have now poured cold water on those claims. The Daily Express contacted the Sussexes’ team directly seeking clarification about whether the Duchess was indeed preparing to write her own memoir.
According to the publication, an insider from Meghan’s side provided a straightforward response, declaring that reports about the Duchess currently writing a memoir are “not true.”
The denial is significant given how much attention another Sussex tell-all would inevitably generate. Harry’s Spare created headlines around the world and exposed numerous private disagreements involving members of the royal family.
A Meghan memoir would likely attract similar scrutiny, particularly following her previous public comments about life within the monarchy. However, her team’s response indicates that the specific reports currently circulating should not be treated as accurate.
The development could potentially come as welcome news within royal circles as Harry attempts to rebuild his relationship with Charles. However, there has been no statement from Buckingham Palace indicating that the King was concerned about the memoir rumours or personally relieved by their denial.
For now, speculation surrounding another explosive Sussex book appears to have been firmly dismissed by Meghan’s side. With the family beginning an extended period in Britain, attention will instead remain on Meghan’s next confirmed projects and whether improved relations with the royals can continue without another tell-all dominating headlines.
