Princess Beatrice and Eugenie Make Important Decision About Their Mother Sarah Ferguson Amid Family Scrutiny

Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie have shown their continued support for their mother, Sarah Ferguson, after appearing alongside the former Duchess of York at a recent memorial service in London.
The sisters joined Sarah at St Paul’s Church in Knightsbridge on Thursday for a service honouring her former partner, motor-racing businessman Paddy McNally.
Their appearance attracted attention amid speculation about whether Beatrice and Eugenie might distance themselves from their mother during a challenging period.
However, their decision to attend the service together offered a visible reminder of their close family connection.
The sisters appeared alongside Sarah in photographs taken outside the church, with the family seemingly sharing a warm moment during the sombre occasion.
Their presence also challenged suggestions that the relationship between Sarah and her daughters had become strained.
According to reports, Beatrice and Eugenie have continued to maintain their relationship with both parents despite the attention surrounding the York family.
The latest development comes after a poll published by The Express asked readers whether the York sisters should become working royals.
The October poll reportedly found that 82 per cent of participating readers voted against the idea, highlighting the views of those who took part. However, the result should not be interpreted as representing the opinion of the entire British public.
Beatrice and Eugenie have previously spoken about the influence their mother had on their childhood, particularly her encouragement to become involved in charitable work from an early age.
During their appearance on the Lessons From Our Mothers podcast, the sisters discussed how Sarah introduced them to volunteering and helping people in need.
Eugenie recalled that her mother regularly took the two girls along to charity activities, making giving back an important part of their upbringing. “When you feel bad about yourself and the world, you give back to others,” Eugenie said.
She explained that charity work had been part of their lives since childhood and described it as something their mother had instilled in them from a very young age.
“We spent half a day looking around and talking to the patients. That was something she’s instilled in us from a very early age: to give back,” Eugenie added.
The sisters’ latest appearance alongside Sarah has once again highlighted the importance of their relationship. While their attendance does not confirm any formal decision about their future royal roles, it shows that Beatrice and Eugenie continue to appear publicly with their mother.
