Prince William and Princess Kate’s Children Face End of Beloved Family Tradition Ahead of Christmas

Prince William and Princess Kate’s children may have to say goodbye to one of their favourite family traditions ahead of Christmas after their much loved television show, Celebrity Traitors, wrapped up its latest season.

The Prince and Princess of Wales are known for making family time a priority, often finding simple ways to spend time together away from their official responsibilities. Watching television has become one of those shared activities, with William recently revealing just how much his children enjoy the popular programme.

During his appearance on The Graham Norton Show, the Prince of Wales admitted that Celebrity Traitors had become a favourite in the family home. He revealed that the children were particularly enthusiastic about watching the series.

“I love it, the family love it. Charlotte and Louis are obsessed with it,” William said, describing the programme as “really good telly”.

However, the latest series has now come to an end, with its final episode airing on Friday. That means Charlotte and Louis will have to wait until the programme returns for another season before they can enjoy new episodes together.

The show is expected to return next year, but the break leaves the Wales family without their regular autumn viewing favourite for the time being.

For Charlotte and Louis, the end of the series could mean finding something else to enjoy during their family evenings. The siblings may discover another programme that captures their attention while they wait for the next season.

The timing also comes as the family prepares for the holiday period, when they are expected to have more opportunities to spend time together. Their older brother, Prince George, is also expected to join them during the school break.

George has begun boarding school at Eton College, marking a significant change in his routine and family life. His return home for the holidays will give the three siblings an opportunity to enjoy time together away from their usual school commitments.

The Wales children have grown up with family traditions that help them maintain a sense of normality despite their royal positions. Shared activities, from watching television to spending time outdoors, offer opportunities to bond.

William’s comments about Celebrity Traitors provided a rare glimpse into the family’s relaxed evenings and showed that even the future king enjoys settling down with his children to watch television.

With the series now finished, the family may have to choose a new programme or activity to fill the gap. Charlotte and Louis could introduce George to their latest favourite when he returns home.

The Christmas break may also give the siblings the chance to create new memories together, particularly as George continues adjusting to boarding-school life.

Although the end of Celebrity Traitors marks a temporary pause in one of their favourite shared activities, it does not mean the Wales family will lose their tradition of spending time together. Instead, the coming holidays could offer the children an opportunity to find something new to enjoy as a family.
