Piers Morgan Cast Fresh Doubt on Prince William and Prince Harry Reunion Hopes

Piers Morgan has cast fresh doubt on a future reunion between Prince William and Prince Harry, saying the brothers have not spoken for years and suggesting the Prince of Wales remains deeply angry over his younger brother’s public criticism of the Royal Family.

Speaking to Fox News Digital, the host of Piers Morgan Uncensored said William was unlikely to take part in a potential documentary about his late mother, Princess Diana, alongside Harry. Morgan pointed to the brothers’ continuing estrangement as a major obstacle.

“Well, they don’t speak to each other and haven’t done so for years,” Morgan said when discussing the possibility of William appearing in a future Diana project.

Morgan, who has frequently criticised Harry and Meghan Markle, argued that William has been particularly affected by the Sussexes’ decision to discuss private family matters publicly through books, documentaries, podcasts and interviews.

He claimed William was “absolutely incandescent with anger” over what Harry had done to the Royal Family, while describing the Duke of Sussex’s public approach as something that had made reconciliation increasingly difficult.

Morgan also pointed to Harry’s criticism of members of the Royal Family, including Princess Kate, Queen Camilla and King Charles, as reasons why William may have little appetite for another highly publicised discussion involving his brother.

“Harry took out the spray gun,” Morgan said, using the phrase to describe what he sees as the scale of Harry’s public attacks against his family.

The broadcaster added that his sympathies were with William, describing the future King as someone who had reached a point where he wanted distance from the continuing controversy surrounding his brother.

Morgan has remained outspoken about Harry and Meghan since their decision to step back from working royal duties and move their lives primarily to the United States.

His latest comments come as attention turns towards the 30th anniversary of Princess Diana’s death in 2027 and the possibility of new documentaries or tributes examining her life and legacy.

The Times has reported that William is not expected to make a film about Diana for the anniversary, with one reported consideration being his desire to avoid creating another situation in which he and Harry could be publicly compared or placed in opposition.

Any future Diana project involving both brothers would therefore face the challenge of their unresolved personal relationship, particularly after years of public disagreement.

Royal broadcaster Ian Pelham Turner also suggested that the continuing distance between William and Harry has created a difficult situation for King Charles, who has previously faced questions about his sons’ relationship.

Turner said Harry and Meghan had remained relatively quiet while the brothers continued to live separate public lives, adding that the situation had left Charles “scratching his head” over the apparent lack of progress.

Despite the continuing speculation, there has been no confirmed announcement that William and Harry are being brought together for a documentary marking Diana’s anniversary. Morgan’s comments represent his own assessment of the brothers’ relationship rather than confirmation of William’s private intentions.

For now, the possibility of a public reunion remains uncertain, with Diana’s 30th anniversary likely to renew interest in whether her sons can eventually find a way to appear together without reopening the disputes that have kept them apart.
