Lady Louise, the daughter of Prince Edward and Sophie, took part in the second day of the final carriage-driving event of the year in Windsor, competing alongside her pony.
A photograph captured by Kelvin F. Bruce showed Sophie supporting her daughter during the event, providing a glimpse of the close family relationship away from the more formal duties associated with the Royal Family.
The outing attracted additional attention because it followed claims about an alleged disagreement between Sophie and Edward over their daughter’s reported future plans.
