Meghan Markle Dropped From Netflix Executives Feeds As Brand Fallout Sparks Buzz
Fresh speculation has emerged around Meghan Markle after reports claimed that top executives at Netflix quietly unfollowed her on social media. The move has raised eyebrows amid ongoing questions about her business ventures.
According to reports, Netflix co chief Ted Sarandos and chief content officer Bela Bajaria both removed Meghan and her lifestyle brand from their Instagram feeds. The change reportedly took place around four weeks ago.
The development has attracted attention because Sarandos was previously seen as one of Meghan’s strongest supporters. When she returned to Instagram in early 2025, he was among the first prominent figures to follow her account.
He had also followed her business venture, now known as As Ever, when it was initially launched under a different name. At the time, the move was viewed as a strong endorsement from a key industry figure.
However, both Meghan’s personal account and her brand have now reportedly disappeared from the executives’ following lists. The shift has fueled speculation about possible changes behind the scenes.
Despite this, sources insist that personal relationships may not have been affected. Nicole Avant, Sarandos’s wife, is said to still follow Meghan’s personal account.
Insiders have also maintained that the friendship between Avant and Meghan remains intact. This suggests that the social media move may not reflect a complete breakdown in personal ties.
The timing of the unfollowing has drawn particular attention. It comes shortly after Netflix reportedly stepped back from its association with Meghan’s brand earlier in March.
The lifestyle brand, which focuses on home inspired products, had aimed to build a strong identity in the market. It featured items such as teas, candles, and food products tied to Meghan’s public image.
However, reports suggested that the venture struggled to generate the level of buzz initially expected. This may have contributed to Netflix distancing itself from the project.
Further claims from industry insiders pointed to tensions within the partnership. Some reports alleged that communication between both sides had become strained over time.
It was even suggested that Sarandos preferred to handle matters through formal legal channels. These claims, however, have been strongly denied by Netflix representatives.
A spokesperson for the company dismissed the allegations as “absolutely inaccurate.” This response indicates that the situation may not be as dramatic as some reports suggest.
Meghan’s legal representative, Michael J Kump, also rejected the claims. He described the reports as “blatantly false,” pushing back against the narrative of a fallout.
Despite the denials, the situation continues to generate debate. Social media activity and business decisions are now being closely watched for signs of change.
As Meghan Markle continues to expand her ventures, her relationship with Netflix remains under scrutiny. Whether this marks a temporary shift or a deeper change is yet to be seen.
