Meghan Markle’s Plans for Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet Spark Fresh Debate as Prince Harry Objects

Meghan Markle is reportedly considering whether Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet could join her during her upcoming television project in Australia but Prince Harry is said to be uncomfortable with the idea of putting their children in the spotlight.

The Duchess of Sussex recently confirmed her role as a judge on Junior MasterChef Australia, where she will appear alongside television personality Poh Ling Yeow.

Meghan expressed her excitement about returning to Australia after her previous appearance on MasterChef Australia, prompting fresh interest in how the family might approach the filming schedule.

Her announcement has also raised questions about whether Archie and Lilibet could make a television appearance alongside their mother.

The speculation follows several occasions when Meghan has shared glimpses of her children helping her in the kitchen, describing their involvement in family cooking activities.

According to New Idea, the children would reportedly be enthusiastic about the possibility of joining their mother on the programme.

A source quoted by the publication claimed that both children enjoy making a mess in the kitchen with Meghan and would find cooking alongside other children particularly exciting.

The report also suggested that Meghan and the children could travel to Australia at the beginning of 2027 for the filming.

The source described the production as a short and contained shoot, adding that its family-friendly format could make the idea appealing to the young Sussexes.

However, the possibility of Archie and Lilibet appearing on television reportedly does not have Harry’s full support.

An insider claimed that although Lilibet appears to share her mother’s enthusiasm for cooking, the Duke is concerned about exposing their children to such a public platform.

The source suggested that allowing the children to participate would represent a significant change in the couple’s approach to protecting their privacy.

Harry and Meghan have generally kept their children’s faces and private lives away from extensive public exposure, although Meghan occasionally shares glimpses of their family activities.

The reported disagreement therefore raises questions about how the couple would balance their children’s interests with their longstanding efforts to give them a relatively private upbringing.

There has been no official confirmation that Archie or Lilibet will appear on Junior MasterChef Australia, and the claims about Harry’s objections come from unnamed sources.

For now, Meghan’s television role remains the confirmed development, while the possibility of her children joining her in Australia remains speculation. Whether the young royals will make any appearance during the filming is yet to be seen.
