Prince Harry’s Bank Balance Could Get a Major Boost After Reported $250,000 MasterClass Deal

Prince Harry has reportedly secured a lucrative $250,000 deal for a MasterClass about grief, with fresh claims suggesting the Duke of Sussex could earn even more if the platform attracts new subscribers.

According to claims reported by royal commentator Rob Shuter, Harry’s reported payment was linked to a MasterClass session lasting around 45 minutes, alongside promotional activity intended to draw attention to the offering.

An unnamed source alleged that the arrangement involved two parts: delivering the class and helping to market it. The claims have also prompted questions about whether Harry’s recent emotional interview with GQ formed part of that promotional effort.

“There were two parts to Harry’s deal. First, delivers the MasterClass. Second, helps sell it,” the source reportedly told Shuter.

The insider went on to suggest that Harry’s interview should not be viewed simply as a spontaneous personal confession, alleging that it also served a commercial purpose.

“The GQ interview wasn’t a spontaneous emotional confession. It was promotion,” the source claimed.

According to the same account, the arrangement involved publicity for both Harry and the MasterClass platform, with the interview helping to generate interest in his appearance and message.

“Harry got publicity, MasterClass got publicity, and everybody benefited,” the source added.

Further claims suggest that Harry may also have negotiated a percentage of subscription revenue, potentially giving him an additional financial incentive if more people signed up. However, this alleged arrangement has not been independently verified.

“The $250,000 may only be the beginning,” another insider reportedly claimed, suggesting that the Duke could benefit financially from new subscribers.

The source added: “Every new subscriber could mean more money for Harry.”

If accurate, such an arrangement could mean that the reported initial fee represents only one part of the deal. However, without confirmed contract details, the precise terms of Harry’s compensation remain unclear.

The timing of the interview has also attracted commentary because it coincided with King Charles undertaking diplomatic duties during the Omani state visit. Some critics have contrasted the King’s official engagements with Harry’s commercial projects, arguing that the competing headlines drew attention away from the monarch.

The suggestion that Harry deliberately overshadowed his father, however, remains an interpretation rather than an established fact.

The reported deal has also reignited debate about the Duke’s decision to speak publicly about personal experiences, including grief, while pursuing independent commercial opportunities.

One source offered a pointed criticism of the apparent arrangement, saying Harry had once complained about others profiting from his pain but was now building a business around it.

That accusation reflects the source’s opinion, not a confirmed assessment of Harry’s motives. Neither the reported $250,000 fee nor the alleged subscription-revenue arrangement should be treated as verified financial information without further confirmation.
