Prince Harry Could Appear on UK’s Famous Shows in Unexpected TV Comeback

Prince Harry could make an unexpected return to British television as he attempts to reconnect with the UK public following his family’s move back to Britain, according to surprising predictions from a former royal butler.

The Duke of Sussex’s return alongside Meghan Markle, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet has generated widespread speculation about what comes next, including questions surrounding their home, the children’s education and the couple’s future commercial projects.

Despite renewed attention surrounding Harry’s relationship with King Charles, the Sussexes have not been offered working royal roles. They are currently reported to be staying at a £12 million residence in the Cotswolds while establishing their new routine.

Former royal butler Grant Harrold, who worked at Highgrove between 2004 and 2011, has now suggested Harry could take an unexpected route to maintain his public profile by making appearances on British television.

Speaking to Smooth Radio’s gaming brand, Harrold suggested that if Harry decides against pursuing another major Netflix-style project, he could potentially explore television programmes connected with his royal background and experience.

“If Prince Harry was to be sensible about the whole situation and not go down the Netflix route, he could try a series of him going around royal homes and palaces,” Harrold suggested while discussing the Duke’s potential options.

The former butler admitted such a programme might not become an enormous success, but argued that the royal family would be less likely to object because the subject would remain connected to Harry’s established public image.

However, Harrold believes the Duke could take an even more surprising approach by appearing on British game and quiz shows, potentially using guest appearances to promote his projects and rebuild his connection with audiences.

“Doing the game show circuit, making guest appearances to promote his brand and the games is completely feasible,” he said. “Trying a different approach is not a bad idea for Harry as he’s a lot of fun.”

Harrold suggested Harry needs to “win the British public over,” making lighter television appearances a potentially useful alternative to the serious interviews that have frequently generated controversy since he stepped away from royal duties.

The former royal employee also named This Morning and Good Morning Britain as programmes Harry could potentially visit, particularly when promoting the Invictus Games, which are scheduled to take place in Birmingham next summer.

However, Harrold warned that any television comeback would require considerable caution. Harry’s previous interviews included criticism of the monarchy, meaning fresh remarks about his relatives could potentially complicate his reported efforts to rebuild family relationships.

“I think we’ll definitely see him probably more between now and Christmas,” Harrold predicted, adding that he believes Harry will “run everything he does past the King, just to keep him happy.”

Harry and Meghan reportedly returned to Britain last week with Archie and Lilibet, who are said to have enrolled in British schools. Whether the Duke actually enters the quiz-show circuit remains entirely speculative, but Harrold believes British television could become an important part of Harry’s next chapter.
