Prince Harry Breaks Silence on Archie and Lilibet’s School Life After Eventful UK Return

Prince Harry break silence and offered a rare update on Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet’s new school life in United Kingdom, revealing that his family is “happy” after what he described as an “eventful” first two weeks back in the United Kingdom.

The Duke of Sussex spoke about the family’s adjustment during an interview with Hello! Magazine after making a high-profile appearance at the inaugural Invictus Spirit Gala Dinner and Awards in London on September 17.

The event marked one of Harry’s biggest public appearances since returning to Britain alongside Meghan Markle and their two children, beginning a significant new chapter for the Sussex family.

During the interview, Harry discussed everything from reconnecting with old friends to his continuing work with the Invictus community, while also offering a brief but meaningful glimpse into Archie and Lilibet’s routine.

Reflecting on the inaugural Invictus Spirit event, Harry said it had “meant everything” after an enormous amount of preparation stretching across many weeks, months and even years.

“We got to tell some incredible stories and celebrate some amazing heroes,” the Duke said, highlighting the people whose resilience and contributions have helped shape the wider Invictus movement.

Harry was also asked how it felt to return to Britain with his family after spending years primarily based in the United States, and his response suggested he was enjoying reconnecting with familiar surroundings.

“It’s wonderful to be back on British soil, and really nice to see so many old faces and friends again,” Harry said, offering an upbeat assessment of his return.

The Duke then acknowledged that the family’s first two weeks had been “eventful,” although he did not directly discuss the specific difficulties that reportedly emerged shortly after their arrival.

Instead, Harry focused on how the Sussexes are moving forward, telling the publication: “We’re getting stuck into the work, the kids are in school, and we’re all happy.”

His comment provides a significant update following reports that Archie and Lilibet changed schools only days into the new term after the Sussexes consulted their security team about practical arrangements surrounding the children’s attendance.

Further privacy concerns subsequently emerged when screenshots from a parents’ WhatsApp group were allegedly circulated, potentially exposing Meghan’s personal contact details. The Sussexes did not publicly address the reported leak.

Harry’s latest comments do not confirm the reasons behind the school change or address those privacy concerns. They do, however, indicate that Archie and Lilibet are now attending school and that their father feels positive about the family’s current situation.

After an unsettled beginning to their new British chapter, Harry’s words offer perhaps the clearest indication yet that the Sussexes are finding their routine. With the children in school and Harry returning to his Invictus work, the Duke’s message was simple: despite an “eventful” start, the family is settling in and “happy.”
