Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s newborn daughter could already be making royal history after arriving in the world at a hospital in Lisbon, Portugal. The little girl may become the first member of the British Royal Family with a direct Portuguese connection, depending on her citizenship status.
King Charles’s niece welcomed her third child on Monday at a hospital in Lisbon, with Buckingham Palace confirming the happy news the following day.
The monarch was reportedly delighted by the arrival, which adds another young member to the extended Royal Family. However, the baby’s name has not yet been publicly announced as Eugenie and Jack settle into life with their newest daughter.
The newborn currently sits 15th in the line of succession to the British throne. Her arrival has also attracted attention because of the location chosen by her parents for her birth.
