Prince Harry Received Boost in Public Support After New Popularity Poll
Prince Harry has received a boost in public support following his recent visit to the United Kingdom, with a new poll indicating that the Duke of Sussex is now viewed more favourably than Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie. The latest survey has reignited discussion about the changing public perception of members of the Royal Family.
The findings come from a YouGov poll conducted between July 21 and July 22. According to the survey, Prince Harry’s standing among the British public improved following his latest trip to his home country.
The results marked a notable development, particularly as the Duke of Sussex has faced years of criticism following his departure from royal life. Despite ongoing debates surrounding his relationship with the monarchy, the latest figures suggest a shift in public attitudes.
Meanwhile, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie experienced a decline in their rankings. The daughters of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson have maintained a relatively low profile throughout the year, but recent headlines involving members of their family have continued to attract public attention.
Royal commentators believe the latest findings may come as a disappointment for the two sisters. According to the survey, a significant number of respondents said they remained uncertain about their views of both princesses.
The poll found that 33 per cent of those questioned held a positive opinion of Prince Harry. By comparison, Princess Beatrice received a positive rating of 30 per cent, while Princess Eugenie followed closely behind with 29 per cent.
At the same time, 34 per cent of participants reported having an unfavourable opinion of Princess Beatrice. An identical percentage of respondents expressed a negative view of Princess Eugenie.
The survey also indicated that many people were undecided when it came to their opinions of the York sisters. According to the findings, 36 per cent of respondents said they were unsure how they felt about Princess Beatrice, while 37 per cent expressed the same view regarding Princess Eugenie.
Prince Harry’s figures revealed a different pattern. While 33 per cent of participants expressed a favourable opinion of the Duke of Sussex, 58 per cent reported holding a negative view of him, and 9 per cent remained undecided.
Even so, the latest results were viewed by some commentators as an improvement compared with previous surveys. According to the reports, Prince Harry’s recent visit to the United Kingdom may have contributed to the shift in public opinion.
The survey also highlighted the continuing challenges faced by Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie. Reports suggested that controversies surrounding Prince Andrew have continued to influence public perceptions of the wider family.
Despite the decline in their popularity, the two sisters still ranked ahead of Meghan Markle in the poll. According to the findings, 22 per cent of respondents said they held a favourable view of the Duchess of Sussex.
The survey also included Prince Andrew, who received the lowest rating among the royals mentioned in the poll. Only 2 per cent of respondents expressed a positive opinion of the Duke of York, while 92 per cent reported holding a negative view.
For now, the latest YouGov findings offer another glimpse into the changing opinions of the British public towards members of the Royal Family. As Prince Harry’s popularity appears to have improved, attention remains focused on how public attitudes towards the monarchy may continue to evolve in the months ahead.
