The Duchess of Edinburgh recently stepped into a new position as Royal Patron of the Armed Forces Para-Snowsport Team, marking another addition to her growing list of charitable commitments. The images showed Sophie at The Snow Centre in Hemel Hempstead, where she met athletes and learned more about the work being carried out by the team.

During the visit, Sophie was briefed on the range of programmes available to participants and heard about how adaptive sport can support people following life-changing injuries or illnesses. She then had the opportunity to experience some of those activities alongside the athletes.
