Princess Kate has received a glowing tribute from a new member of the extended Royal Family with Harriet Phillips describing the Princess of Wales as someone she can comfortably turn to for advice and guidance.

Harriet, who married Peter Phillips, Princess Anne’s son, was recently asked about her first meeting with the Prince and Princess of Wales and their children during an interview with Hello! magazine.
She recalled being welcomed into the family and described the experience as an incredibly positive one.
The meeting took place during a holiday in the Isles of Scilly, where the families happened to be staying in the same location.
Harriet explained that the occasion was relaxed, with the children jumping into the water together and enjoying time away from formal royal settings.
She said: “I’ve had an incredible experience being welcomed in. We happened to be on holiday at the same place in the Scilly Isles.”
Describing the atmosphere, she added: “It was great because the children were all jumping into the water at the same time. It was very casual, but there is a clear level of respect there.”
Harriet also spoke particularly warmly about Kate’s personality, suggesting that the Princess had made her feel comfortable within the family.
Her most notable comments concerned the guidance she believes she could seek from the future Queen.
“I can look to Catherine for advice and guidance. She’s very open-hearted, and I would always feel comfortable asking her if I needed advice about something,” Harriet said.
The remarks offer a positive glimpse into Kate’s relationship with her new relative and suggest that she has made a welcoming impression on Peter’s wife.
They have also revived discussion about Meghan’s previous comments regarding her own experiences with the Princess of Wales. However, Harriet’s personal account does not independently disprove Meghan’s description of her relationship with Kate, as the two women may have had different experiences.
Harriet joined the extended royal family after marrying Peter Phillips on June 6, in a celebration attended by several senior members of the monarchy.
