Kourtney Kardashian Reveals Jennifer Lawrence’s Surprising Message After Calling Her Annoying

Kourtney Kardashian has revealed that Jennifer Lawrence reached out to her after calling the reality star more annoying than ever, with the actress apparently turning the awkward moment into a playful exchange rather than a lasting feud.

During the season eight premiere of The Kardashians on October 8, Kourtney told Simon Huck that Lawrence later emailed her about comments she had made during a 2025 Vanity Fair lie-detector interview.

According to Kourtney, Lawrence explained that she viewed her almost like another Kardashian sister, which helped put the earlier remarks into a very different context.

“She’s like, ‘I just feel like I’m one of your sisters,’” Kourtney recalled, adding that she later watched the interview again and realised Lawrence’s comments were not as harsh as she had initially thought.

Lawrence had previously joked about Kourtney’s tendency to publicly announce changes in her lifestyle, including decisions about fashion and television.

“Everything has to be an announcement,” Lawrence said during the interview, poking fun at the way Kourtney sometimes shares personal choices with her followers and the public.

The actress referenced examples such as Kourtney announcing that she would no longer wear certain outfits or saying that she did not have a television in her bedroom.

Lawrence’s point was that Kourtney could simply make those choices without turning them into formal announcements, adding to the playful criticism that later became a talking point between the two celebrities.

Kourtney, however, apparently decided to interpret the comments as the kind of teasing she might receive from one of her actual sisters.

She recalled telling her mother that if Lawrence really considered herself one of the Kardashian sisters, she was ready to treat her accordingly, joking that she would invite the actress over and “go for it like she’s my sister.”

Despite the humour, Kourtney admitted that Lawrence’s comments came at a time when she was already feeling particularly sensitive about how she was being perceived by viewers.

The reality star said she felt as though people were “ganging up” on her, making the actress’s criticism potentially more difficult to brush aside at the time.

Lawrence’s later email appears to have helped ease any tension, with Kourtney describing the message from the Oscar-winning actress as “so nice.”

Rather than treating the exchange as a serious celebrity feud, Kourtney appeared willing to embrace Lawrence’s explanation and the idea that the actress was simply giving her the kind of teasing normally associated with family.

However, Kourtney has not completely abandoned the possibility of a playful confrontation, joking that Lawrence could receive an invitation to settle their differences in the same dramatic style associated with Kourtney and Kim Kardashian’s famous sibling clashes.

“I’ll just say, ‘Next time you wanna come over,’” Kourtney joked, suggesting they could “go at it, Kourtney and Kim style.”

For now, the exchange appears to be more comedy than conflict, with Lawrence’s private message giving Kourtney a reason to laugh off the original criticism while leaving the door open for another round of Kardashian-style banter.

If the two celebrities ever do meet up for the promised showdown, it seems unlikely to be a genuine feud and far more likely to become another memorable moment for the Kardashian family’s ever-growing collection of celebrity encounters.
