Meghan Markle is allegedly prepared to fight back if she feels pushed into a corner as fresh claims suggest the Duchess blames Prince William and Princess Kate for royal roadblock.
The Duchess of Sussex is said to be increasingly determined to protect her position as questions continue over the couple’s extended return to Britain, their royal titles and Harry’s unresolved security concerns.
According to a new claim, any response from Meghan would not necessarily be driven by revenge but by her desire to defend her boundaries and reclaim control of the narrative surrounding herself and her family.
Those claims remain unconfirmed, however, and Meghan has made no public announcement suggesting she is preparing for a new confrontation with the Royal Family.
The speculation comes only weeks into Harry and Meghan’s new chapter in Britain, where their presence has reignited debate over exactly what relationship they will have with the monarchy going forward.
Harry has maintained a busy programme of engagements in Britain and abroad, while Meghan has increasingly turned her attention towards As Ever and promotional content connected with her lifestyle business.

One unnamed insider quoted by Closer claimed William had been particularly influential in encouraging Charles to maintain firm boundaries surrounding Harry and Meghan’s position.
“William was clearly instrumental in getting Charles to put his foot down,” the source alleged, describing the reported move as a “power play” intended to remind the Sussexes of their position within the royal hierarchy.
The same report claimed Meghan does not believe William acted alone and suspects Kate also played a role in maintaining the distance between the Sussexes and the institution.
“Meghan is not letting Kate off the hook,” the source claimed, adding that the Duchess allegedly believes the Prince and Princess of Wales are working together to influence Charles against the Sussexes.
There is no public evidence establishing that William or Kate orchestrated a campaign against Harry and Meghan, nor has Meghan publicly accused them of doing so. Likewise, suggestions that she is preparing for a “final battle” remain insider speculation rather than a confirmed plan.
What is clear is that the Sussexes remain outside the working royal structure, leaving their personal reconciliation with Charles separate from any potential return to official royal duties.
