Prince Harry Takes Precautions To Protect Reconciliation Hopes With King Charles
Prince Harry has taken immediate precautions to protect his hopes of reconciliation with King Charles, with claims that he has urged Meghan Markle to be more careful about attending Hollywood gatherings following Martha Stewart’s recent comments.
The Duke of Sussex is said to be particularly concerned about any information surrounding his family’s private discussions with the King becoming public.
The reported warning comes after lifestyle personality Martha Stewart spoke about seeing Meghan at a dinner in California and appeared to reference the Duchess having recently returned from Europe.
Her comments sparked speculation among royal watchers because they came shortly after Harry, Meghan and their children reportedly reunited with King Charles and Queen Camilla at Highgrove.
According to a source quoted by Woman’s Day, Harry is said to believe that the situation surrounding his relationship with his father remains extremely delicate and that even seemingly harmless comments could create problems.
“Things are so delicate right now, and people are so thirsty for any bit of gossip, even the nod of a head can be twisted into something,” the insider claimed.
The source suggested that Harry has therefore asked Meghan to exercise particular caution in social situations where conversations about their family or recent UK visit could potentially attract attention.
“Just to make sure nothing like this happens, because he feels they cannot afford any missteps and clearly nowhere is safe,” the report claimed.
The alleged precaution comes amid reports that Charles wanted the reunion at Highgrove to remain private. The King was reportedly keen to prevent details of the meeting from being leaked or becoming the subject of wider public discussion.
The meeting itself was significant because it reportedly marked an important opportunity for Charles to spend time with Archie and Lilibet after a lengthy period apart.
Harry is believed to be keen to build on the progress made with his father rather than risk further tensions. As a result, any potential controversy surrounding the private meeting could be particularly concerning for the Duke.
However, there is no official confirmation that Harry has actually banned Meghan from attending Hollywood parties, and neither the Sussexes nor Buckingham Palace has publicly commented on the claim.
Martha’s remarks have also raised questions about whether she was actually referring to the private Highgrove meeting. Meghan could have been discussing another aspect of her European travels, meaning the comments alone do not establish that details of the royal reunion were disclosed.
Nevertheless, the reports suggest that Harry is determined to avoid anything that could undermine the fragile progress reportedly made with his father.
With both sides seemingly keeping the details of their recent meeting private, the Duke may now be particularly cautious about how his family’s future interactions with the King are discussed publicly. For Harry, protecting that privacy could be crucial if he hopes the recent reunion becomes the beginning of a more lasting reconciliation with Charles.
