Meghan Markle Sends New Message To Customers As Princess Diana Home Photo Controversy Grows
Meghan Markle has shared a warm new message with her customers after becoming embroiled in a controversy over a photograph allegedly connected to Princess Diana’s former home. The Duchess of Sussex focused on the joys of summer and everyday family life in her latest newsletter, appearing to move forward despite the criticism surrounding her recent social media activity.
The message was sent to subscribers of Meghan’s As Ever brand under the title “Summer in the Garden.” It offered a peaceful reflection on flowers, herbs, fruit and the simple pleasures associated with the warmer months.
Meghan wrote about the natural rhythm of summer, describing flowers opening in the morning, herbs being gathered for the table and fruit ripening in the warmth. Her words presented a noticeably calm tone following days of intense discussion about her recent Instagram activity.
The Duchess also connected the seasonal message to her As Ever collection. She explained that many of the products were inspired by an appreciation for simple pleasures, including things planted and grown in the family’s backyard.
She continued by describing the season as an opportunity to bring fresh ingredients to the table, spend more time outdoors and appreciate the beauty found in everyday moments. The message appeared focused on positivity rather than the controversy surrounding her recent trip to Britain.
However, the timing of Meghan’s newsletter has attracted attention because it followed a photograph that was allegedly taken at Althorp House, the childhood home and final resting place of Princess Diana.
The image reportedly showed Prince Harry and the couple’s children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, during their recent time in Britain. Its appearance online generated questions because the Sussexes’ visit had reportedly been intended to remain private.
The controversy became even more significant amid claims that members of the Royal Family had wanted details of Harry and Meghan’s UK trip kept away from social media. The couple’s alleged decision to share the Althorp-related image therefore sparked criticism from some royal commentators.
According to New Idea, Queen Camilla was reportedly unhappy with Meghan’s decision. The publication claimed that the Queen believed her position on social media posts had been made clear.
“Camilla’s words appear to have fallen on deaf ears,” the report claimed, adding that the Queen allegedly felt Meghan should not have considered Althorp an exception to the reported understanding.
The claims have not been confirmed by Buckingham Palace or representatives for Meghan. There is also no official evidence establishing that Camilla personally issued a warning to Meghan about the photograph.
Nevertheless, the controversy has created another point of discussion around the Sussexes’ relationship with the Royal Family. Harry and Meghan’s recent contact with King Charles had initially been viewed as a potentially positive development after years of family tension.
The Althorp photograph, however, has shifted some of the attention back towards the difficult question of privacy and trust. Any progress between the Sussexes and the Royal Family could depend heavily on whether both sides believe private family moments will remain private.
Meghan’s latest newsletter does not directly address the controversy. Instead, the Duchess has chosen to focus on her brand, the summer season and the everyday experiences that inspired her products.
For now, the reported disagreement remains based largely on claims from unnamed sources rather than official statements. Meghan’s latest message nevertheless shows that she appears determined to continue promoting As Ever and sharing her personal interests with customers despite the ongoing royal scrutiny.
