Prince William Unveils Star Ttudded Line-Up as Mystery Around Princess Kate’s Earthshot Appearance Grows

Prince William has unveiled a star studded line-up for his flagship Prize ceremony in Mumbai as speculation continues over whether Princess Kate will join him for the major overseas event.

The Prince of Wales is preparing for the Earthshot Prize ceremony in India on November 27, with global names from music, film, fashion, conservation and sport expected to gather for the prestigious occasion.

The event will mark another major moment for William’s environmental initiative, which has grown into one of the most prominent projects associated with his royal work.

Attention has also turned towards Catherine, whose possible attendance has become a subject of growing interest as the couple have yet to make an overseas visit together since her return to public duties following treatment for cancer.

William and Catherine have made several joint appearances in Britain in recent months, but an international engagement together would represent a significant development for the Prince and Princess of Wales.

The Earthshot Prize has now confirmed an impressive group of personalities who will join William and thousands of distinguished guests at the Mumbai event, with the ceremony also set to be streamed live for audiences around the world.

Earthshot Ambassadors Robert Irwin and Nomzamo Mbatha will be alongside William, while around 5,000 guests are expected to attend the celebration of environmental innovation and climate solutions.

The celebrity line-up includes Bridgerton star Simone Ashley, Oscar-winning actor Rami Malek and Indian actress Alia Bhatt, adding considerable star power to an evening centred on efforts to repair the planet.

Indian sporting legend Sachin Tendulkar is also expected to attend, alongside singer Shreya Ghoshal and actress and fashion figure Sonam Kapoor.

Indian filmmaker and producer Karan Johar will host the awards evening, bringing his own connection to William and the Earthshot Prize to the high-profile event.

Johar has previously praised William for his commitment to environmental issues, describing him as a “huge contributor to [the discussion] of climate change” and highlighting the influence he can bring to the cause.

Simone Ashley has also spoken enthusiastically about her involvement, describing it as a “privilege to be part of The Earthshot Prize in Mumbai” and praising the people working to repair the planet.

“Bringing this global community together in India proves that real change happens when we unite with ambition, creativity and optimism,” Ashley said, adding that she was “thrilled to perform at this special celebration.”

With the A-list guest list now taking shape, attention is likely to remain focused on whether Catherine will ultimately accompany William to Mumbai. Her attendance has not been confirmed in the announcement, leaving the Princess’s role as one of the biggest unanswered questions surrounding the Prince of Wales’s major overseas engagement.
