Princess Kate is reportedly worried about Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet’s security after the children were moved to another school just two days into the new term, with claims she has urged Prince William to consider the youngsters separately from his tensions with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
According to Closer, the Princess of Wales remains concerned about the wellbeing of her nephew and niece despite the deep divisions that have developed between the Sussexes and Waleses over recent years.
“Despite the deep divisions between the Sussexes and the Waleses, Kate cannot simply switch off her sympathy,” an unnamed source told the publication.
The insider claimed Kate understands why Harry remains intensely focused on protecting his children, even though her relationship with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex has changed considerably.
“She understands Harry’s determination to protect his children, even if she remains wary of the Sussexes following everything that’s happened,” the source continued.
Kate and Harry were once seen sharing a warm relationship, and the report suggests those memories may still influence the Princess’ feelings as her brother-in-law deals with concerns surrounding his family’s security.
The source stressed that Kate allegedly distinguishes between disagreements involving the adults and the circumstances facing Archie and Lilibet.
“Whatever has happened between the adults, she doesn’t want Archie and Lilibet paying the price,” the insider claimed.
The reported concern comes after Archie and Lilibet were said to have experienced an abrupt school change shortly after beginning the new term, adding another complication to Harry and Meghan’s transition following their return to Britain.
As a mother to Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, Kate is said to understand Harry’s instinct to prioritise the safety and stability of his children when making major family decisions.
