Prince William and Princess Kate are seemingly no longer consumed by anger towards Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, with a source claiming the Waleses have instead reached a point of emotional “indifference” following the Sussexes’ return to Britain.
William and Kate had initially been described as taking a cautious approach to Harry and Meghan’s renewed UK presence, avoiding any immediate reaction that might make future family meetings or a possible reconciliation more difficult.
However, a new account shared with Rob Shuter suggests their silence may have less to do with a deliberate reconciliation strategy and more to do with a significant change in how they personally view the Sussexes.
According to the insider, years of disagreements and emotional fallout have left William and Kate unwilling to devote the same amount of attention to the dispute that they once did.
“William spent years being furious. Catherine was deeply hurt. But you cannot stay angry forever,” the source claimed while describing the couple’s alleged change in attitude.
“Eventually you stop fighting and simply stop caring,” the insider added, suggesting the Waleses have moved beyond the most emotionally charged stage of their dispute with Harry and Meghan.
