Meghan Markle is planning a carefully timed UK comeback that could place her firmly alongside Princess Kate in the public spotlight, with sources claiming the Duchess is deliberately staying out of sight until enough anticipation builds around her first major appearances.
The Duchess of Sussex has remained relatively low-key since returning to Britain with Prince Harry and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, despite considerable interest in what her new UK life will involve.

“She is deliberately biding her time and staying out of sight intentionally, but she’s also got plenty of things keeping her busy,” the source continued.
The strategy reportedly involves allowing public curiosity to build before Meghan begins appearing more frequently, potentially giving her future engagements greater attention than if she immediately maintained a packed schedule.
The source claimed that once “enough anticipation” has developed, Meghan intends to begin stepping out more, with the aim of ensuring “people will be excited to see her” rather than becoming accustomed to constant appearances.
Princess Kate reportedly forms an unavoidable part of that calculation because the two women have faced comparisons for years, despite occupying very different positions since Harry and Meghan stepped away from working royal duties.
According to the insider, Meghan is aware those comparisons will continue and “wants to prove she can make just as much of an impact, if not more” when she eventually increases her visibility.
