Prince Harry Sets Ambitious Long Term Plan As Archie And Lilibet Prepare For Life In Britain

Prince Harry is preparing for a major long term change as he considers spending the next 12 to 15 years in Britain while Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet grow up. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are reportedly planning an extended period in the UK, with their children’s possible British schooling emerging as one of the main reasons behind the family’s decision.

According to a source cited by the Daily Mail, Harry sees himself remaining in Britain for at least the next 12 to 15 years. The reported timeline would represent a significant change from the family’s life in California.

The source claimed Harry wants to take an active role in raising Archie and Lilibet and be present for both their everyday experiences and important milestones as they grow older.

“He wants them to be raised British, in Britain, and go to a public school,” the source reportedly said, suggesting that the children’s upbringing is central to the family’s plans.

Harry’s reported ambitions could therefore extend far beyond a temporary UK visit. If accurate, his plans would involve spending much of his children’s formative years in the country where he was born and raised.

The reports also suggest the idea has been under consideration for considerably longer than the public may have realized. Harry may have been quietly exploring educational options for his children well before the latest announcement.

While previous reports suggested King Charles only learned about the Sussexes’ plans shortly before they became public, a source told the Daily Mail that the monarch was reportedly aware Harry had been looking into British schools.

The source claimed the Sussexes had allegedly requested school prospectuses and spoken with headteachers over a period of years, indicating that the possibility of a British education may not be a recent decision.

However, Harry’s reported long-term plans do not necessarily mean that Meghan Markle and the children will permanently abandon their California life.

Meghan is expected to continue travelling between Britain and the United States because of her business interests, including her lifestyle brand As Ever, while the couple’s Archewell Productions operation remains based in America.

A friend reportedly told the newspaper that Meghan will need to spend considerable time in the United States and would not simply be able to manage all of her commitments remotely from Britain.

The Sussexes are also expected to retain their Montecito home, allowing the family to return to California during school holidays and other breaks throughout the year. Christmas and school vacations could provide opportunities for the family to spend time at their California property while maintaining their new routine in Britain.

The reported arrangement would effectively give Harry a life split between his homeland and the United States, while allowing Meghan to continue developing her business and entertainment interests across the Atlantic.

For Harry, however, the central priority appears to be his children’s upbringing. If the reports are accurate, he wants Archie and Lilibet to experience British life and education while remaining closely involved in their childhood.

Whether the Sussexes ultimately follow the reported 12-to-15-year plan remains to be seen. For now, the potential move signals a significant shift in Harry’s priorities and could reshape his family’s relationship with Britain for years to come.
