Meghan Markle And Princess Eugenie Explore Quiet Collaboration In Europe

Meghan Markle and Princess Eugenie are reportedly exploring a possible collaboration in Europe, with the Duchess of Sussex said to be considering the project as part of a potential “great reset” for her family and lifestyle brand.

Amid speculation surrounding the Sussexes’ future plans, Meghan has reportedly been “trying to collaborate” with Harry’s cousin, raising the possibility of the two women working together on a venture in Europe.

“She’s talking with Eugenie about how they could team up and get involved in something together in Europe,” an insider claimed, although there has been no official confirmation of any joint project.

The speculation has also been linked to Portugal, where Harry and Meghan are reported to have developed an interest in spending more time. The couple were allegedly in the country with Princess Eugenie and her family shortly before Eugenie welcomed her third child, although the reported meeting has not been officially confirmed.

Meghan’s recent Instagram photo dump fuelled further speculation after eagle-eyed followers noticed views that appeared similar to the area surrounding Eugenie’s Portuguese home.

The reports have also coincided with claims that Harry wants Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet to develop a closer relationship with their royal cousins. The Duke has previously spoken about the importance of family, and Portugal could potentially provide a quieter setting for the children to spend time together.

The Sussexes have reportedly enjoyed their visits to Portugal and are said to regard the country as a peaceful escape from the intense attention they often receive in the United States and Britain.

One source quoted by Woman’s Day claimed that Meghan sees Portugal as offering several advantages, particularly because of its privacy and proximity to the UK.

[Meghan] says it checks so many boxes. For one thing they have so much peace and privacy there, it’s so nourishing. And they get much needed family time,” the source claimed.

Princess Eugenie’s reported connection to the Sussexes could also make Portugal particularly appealing. Eugenie has long been regarded as one of the members of the Royal Family who remained in contact with Harry and Meghan after their decision to step back from royal duties and relocate to the United States.

Meghan is therefore reportedly keen to maintain the couple’s connection to Portugal, where they are said to have bought a holiday property. The country could potentially become more than simply a place for occasional breaks.

An expansion of Meghan’s lifestyle brand, As Ever, has also been suggested as part of the wider plans. According to the reports, the Duchess could view Europe as a potential new market for the brand.

Having Eugenie nearby could potentially provide another connection to the UK, particularly because the Princess remains on good terms with senior members of the Royal Family. However, there is no confirmed evidence that Eugenie is formally involved in Meghan’s business plans.

The insider suggested that Meghan is considering Portugal as a possible part-time base rather than simply a holiday destination. “It’s much closer to the UK, so Meghan’s now looking at the possibility of them making Portugal their part-time home base, not just a holiday place but somewhere they spend some meaningful time,” the source claimed.

Such an arrangement could also make it easier for Harry to travel between Portugal and Britain for family meetings, particularly as his relationship with King Charles has reportedly shown signs of improvement.

For now, neither Meghan nor Eugenie has confirmed plans for a joint venture, while the reports surrounding a permanent or part-time Portuguese base remain unverified. If the speculation proves accurate, however, Portugal could become an important part of a new chapter for the Sussexes, combining family time, greater privacy and potential European expansion for Meghan’s brand.
